Punctuality 

It is my goal to start all appointments on time.  Please understand that your session begins at your appointment time, not your hands on time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to give us adequate time to create a plan for your session and get you comfortable on the table. 

 

Cleanliness 

Rest assured, everything is squeaky clean for you when you arrive! I always schedule sufficient time between clients to clean surfaces, tools, and change linens.

 

Safe Place 

I believe everyone can benefit from massage therapy. At Myo Maintenance, all genders, ages, body types, and needs are welcome. My top priority is that you feel comfortable the entire time. Leave any outside insecurities at the door! 

 

I follow your lead 

Please know, I love talking to my clients and getting to know them. But I also know this is YOUR time. I follow your lead. If you want to talk a little bit, a lot, or nothing at all, that is all great! The worst feeling is just needing 60 minutes of peace and quiet and having your therapist talk to you the entire time. None of that here, you are in the chatting driver’s seat! 

 

Customized Treatments 

No two bodies are the same so why would two treatments be the same? Often our bodies feel different depending on the day we’ve had.  I understand that with every session there are different needs and goals. At each session, I use a variety of modalities to cater to what your body needs that day. I also continue to expand my knowledge and skills to provide you with the best treatment.

Appointment Notifications 

Appointment reminders help both of us! When your appointment is scheduled you will get a notification by text message and/or email. You will also receive a message to confirm your appointment 72 hours in advance. Please do your best to confirm OR contact me to reschedule. This protects both of us and other clients who have scheduled appointments. If you do not receive a message when you think you have an appointment scheduled there may be a disconnect in our communication that needs to be addressed. 
 

Appointment Cancellations

When you book an appointment with me you are supporting a solopreneur! 100% of my income comes from my valued clients and short notice cancellations jeopardize my livelihood. It also takes a spot away from someone else who can benefit from a treatment session.  My cancellation policy is in place to protect everyone's time. 

 

Once you receive your 72 hour confirmation text and/or email, cancellation or rescheduling your appointment beyond that point will result in a service fee of 50%. 

 

A same day cancellation, reschedule, or no-show will result in a full service charge. 

 

That includes but is not limited to: car problems, child care issues, illness (including testing positive for Covid-19), work conflicts, family emergencies, etc.

 

If you can fill your time slot and NOTIFY me of the change you will not be responsible for the fee.

 

I understand that life happens and this respect for time goes both ways. If I cancel last minute on you, for any reason, your session is on me! 

 

Here’s to hoping the only lemons life gives us are the ones we put in our cocktails!
